Why you need a translation
Do you come from the former U.S.S.R./current Russia and want to live in the Netherlands? Then you will definitely need an official sworn translation of your foreign birth certificate because this is a requirement of the Dutch Immigration Service (IND) which accepts foreign documents without translation only in case these documents are in Dutch, English, German or French. For documents in all other languages (including Russian) a sworn translation is needed. Normally this sworn translation is needed after legalization of your document abroad (usually by means of an apostille).

We can provide you with a sworn translation of your birth certificate
Elena Translations provides fast and accurate sworn translation services of birth certificates and corresponding apostilles. We can translate your Russian birth certificate into English or Dutch. We also provide sworn translation services of birth certificates from English/Dutch into Russian in case you need to submit your Dutch or English documents to Russian authorities. This may be needed in different situations. For example, if you want to arrange Russian citizenship for your child born in the Netherlands. Then you will need to submit the Russian sworn translation of your child’s birth certificate to the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands. Do you still have questions?
